Access to first-in pallets for higher rotations
Every Drive-In system is custom-made to suit your specified area and product. By designing and using different configurations we can accommodate either single-entry drive-in racking, or double-entry drive-through racking. The drive-through configuration delivers easy pallet access by providing an entrance at the ‘front’ side of each row, as well as exit access to the pallets that were first-in, at the ‘back’ of the row. This configuration requires an extra lane of empty floorspace for the forklift to access both ends, but still allows for a relatively high density of space-saving storage.
Popular bulk & cold storage option
Drive-in pallet racking is the most popular option on the market for bulk storage and cold storage. It is the most efficient way to protect your pallets, buffered and stored as they are, deep amongst other pallet rows or lanes. They are not generally exposed to movement or other forces until accessed.
Drive-in racking is especially useful for cold storage areas, because costly refrigerated spaces can be employed more economically, by storing more pallets, more densely.
Designed for protection
Your inventory is kept safe, firstly by the dense configuration of pallets in the adjoining racking. Further, steel floor rails and upright protectors are placed to guide forklifts and create barriers, to minimise impacts.
Racking, support rails, uprights, beams, brackets and framework components are constructed from sturdy and durable metal and galvanised steel, with securely welded base-plates to fortify tall structures. Slider rails are equipped with pallet guides and safety backstops, to keep the end pallets stored securely in place.
